Our Health Practice Protocol
Information for In-person Physiotherapy Services
What procedures are in place for in-person care?
The following measures are in place to ensure that your appointments remain in a welcoming and safe environment.
What I will be doing to maintain a healthy environment:
Wearing a mask will be worn on request, without hesitation.
Ensuring hand hygiene via hand washing prior to and immediately following treatments.
Before each appointment, all surfaces that you will be coming into contact with (ie. treatment table, chairs, equipment) will be cleaned and disinfected to ensure the space is yours, and yours only.
Following each treatment, surfaces that are ‘high-touch’ will be cleaned and disinfected.
All pillowcases and towels used will be laundered after each use (this goes without saying).
What I will ask of you:
Booking your appointment
Please do not book if you, or someone in your household is feeling unwell or suffering from a respiratory illness.
Reschedule if you have any symptoms of illness or simply feel unwell in the days prior to your appointment.
On arrival
Wearing a mask is optional and are available on request.
Please knock at the door when you arrive. I will happily open the door for you once the space is ready. If I do not open the door immediately, please wait.
On entering, I will have hand sanitizer available for you to use. This sets the scene for not bringing outside inside. Hand sanitizer will continue to be available in the treatment room and will be encouraged prior to you leaving your appointment as well.
I ask that minimal additional items are brought into your appointment. Shoes will be left at the front door.
Although there is a washroom onsite, I ask that you try to use your own prior to attending.
Thank you!
